Over the last couple of years, we have lost both one of our founding partners (Chuck Boardman) as well as our long time Board Chairman (Larry Donovan). We love them and their families. They garnered respect for Cameron in any venue and we miss them.
Larry Donovan – Chairman, Board of Directors; Contracts Manager, Internal and External Acquisitions
BsChE Chemical Engineering, University of Notre Dame; MS Nuclear Engineering, University of California Berkeley; MS Ocean Engineering, Massachusetts Institute of Technology; Certified Advanced Management Program, Harvard Business School. Distinguished career as a Navy Civil Engineer (27 yrs), served in 4 Command positions at the end of my career including a Seabee Regiment, a Public Works Center, and an Engineering Field Division. Also was the Program Director for the construction of the Island of Diego Garcia, founded the Navy’s Ocean Facility Program; and Operated a nuclear reactor facility in Antarctica. Executive career at Bechtel National, Inc. (retired 2004) — Positions at Bechtel: Chief Financial Officer, Manager of Contracts and Project Director. Some highlights during that time included: Early work in project engineering and construction work, which increased revenue from $800M to $3B; Later was responsible for Design and Construction of $1B Chemical Demil. Facility; As CFO and Mgr of Contracts was responsible for all prime and major subcontracts with Bechtel; and was in charge of more than 50 world-wide contract managers. Since retirement: Owner of Donovan Consulting, and Board Member of The Cameron Group, Inc., and its subsidiary.
Chuck Boardman — Founding Partner and Executive Vice President
Mr. Boardman has more than 30 years of experience in the design and optimization of advanced reactors at General Electric’s Advanced Reactors Department. As Manager Systems and Plant Engineering Mr. Boardman and his team were responsible for the NI and BOP portions of the plant. Specific areas of responsibility included the design of containment, intermediate heat transport, decay heat removal, power generation, and the sodium heated steam generators and associated pressure relief systems.
