Dr. Saleem Drera – Vice President, Nuclear Consulting and Deputy Chief Technology Officer

Dr. Drera has a PhD in Nuclear Engineering at the Colorado School of Mines. He received two BS degrees from the University of California, Berkeley in Nuclear and Chemical Engineering, and he has an MS degree from the University of Colorado in Mechanical Engineering. Dr. Drera’s expertise lies in the knowledge of computational and non-computational reactor core and particle physics for criticality, shielding, and design applications. Prior to joining the Cameron Group he held employment at Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory – Lockheed Martin and the Electric Power Research Institute. Dr. Drera has advanced computational skills: Nuclear: Monte Carlo, Point Depletion etc… (MCNP, SCALE, etc…); Mechanical: CAD (SolidWorks, ProE), CFD, FEA / Stress analysis (Cosmos, Abaqus); Chemical: ASPEN; Programming: Fortran, C++, Java, Matlab. Saleem has a Private Pilots License, received in August 2003. Part 61 Flight Rules.
